The Botswana Defence Force Band held their 30th annual presentation concert in style in Francistown on Friday. The concert was organized in support of charity and aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of mindset change initiative and Gender Based Violence through music.

Furthermore, the concert aimed to promote culture, music, and artistic skills.

Among the attendees, notable guests included the Customary Court of Appeal President, Kgosi Christopher Masunga, the Commander of BDF, Lt. Gen. Placid Segokgo, the Botswana Police Divisional Commander North, Senior Assistant Commissioner Cynthia Setilo, and other senior BDF officials.

During the event, the band donated P15 000 to the Botswana Gender Support project and P10 000 to Francistown SOS.

The concerts are part of the BDF's corporate social responsibility program, which is designed to give back to the community, especially those in need.
