18 May 2023
Let’s Out Party, a lifestyle event with musical performances will tomorrow, host a third edition featuring two South African acts, Morda and Artwork Sounds.
Branded as an all-black event, Let’s Out Party is known for chic and vibrant yet classy dress themes for its patrons.
The third edition is simply themed ‘Bad and Boujee,’ meaning looking attractive and luxuriously classy yet humble in character.
Artwork Sounds, George Theko and Rofhiwa ‘Soultronixx’ Ndou will entertain fans with some songs from their latest offering, The Gospel According to Artwork Sounds Chapter II. The album carries some gospel house beat songs.
However, Ndou, known as Soultronixx said in an interview that they fuse different music styles in their own flair as they have been exposed to different styles in their career.
“We have a bit of everything in our music and with the latest project we have been struggling to categorize some of the songs as they do not belong to any genre,” explained Soultronixx adding that they hope to one day have a genre that would best fit their style of music.
Listening to some of their songs from their latest project, such as Awesome God, For Your Glory, We Lift Our Hands; one would pick an American gospel style of which Soultronixx said most of their songs in the album adopted the American Gospel style.
“That is the style we have adopted,” he said
Soultronixx further said they hoped to work with other Gospel artists in their future projects across the world.
Their latest offering also resonates with the influence and inspiration of South African music culture.
Awesome God, features contributions from the talented acclaimed amapiano king Kabza De Small as well as Hosanna which also has an offering from DJ
Maphorisa, while Njalo features Murumba Pitch and Cnethemba as well as SGVO and many more.
Organizer of the event, Bokamoso Keisang promised his patrons an experience saying the third edition was bringing a musical experience by the two South African acts.
“We have Morda for the first time in Botswana as a solo act since his departure from Black Motion, and together with Artwork Sounds they are set to deliver uplifting and inspiring sounds which is sure to grab the audience attention,” Keisang noted.
Let’s Out Party third edition lifestyle event will be supported by Frostbite, Romeo, DJ Chopsy, Soulman as well as Kyno and BlazeKnight, with tickets presold at P250 at web tickets as well as Spar and Choppies outlets and P300 at the gate. ENDS
