Police in Francistown says it is premature to disclose the identities of the three children allegedly killed by their father in Tatisiding on Tuesday.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr Paul Molapisi, said this in an interview on the sidelines of the ongoing search for the suspect.
"It is still early to release the names of the young victims," he said.
He emphasised the sensitivity and complexity of the case, highlighting that most relatives have not yet been notified.

"In such sensitive and tragic circumstances, it is crucial to uphold the dignity of the deceased and their families," added Mr Molapisi.

Superintendent Emily Kula, the station commander of Gerald Police station overseeing Tatisiding, expressed optimism that the suspect, would be arrested.
"We are persistent in our efforts to apprehend the suspect. This is a  grave case involving innocent lives," Superintendent Kula remarked.

The search for the alleged perpetrator has entered its fourth day since the incident on Tuesday.
The victims, aged 13, 10, and eight, were students at Tatisiding primary school, with the oldest in standard seven, and the others in standard four and two respectively. ENDS
