In an effort to expand its footprint, Sip & Plan Botswana will host annual goal-setting sessions in Rustenburg, South Africa on February 25 and Lusaka, Zambia on April 28-29.
Sip & Plan founder, Ms Tefo Atholang told BOPA in an interview recently that the sessions were geared towards empowering participants to transform their attitudes to realise their visions and dreams for the future.
Ms Atholang said the Sip and Plan sessions engaged the mind, body, and soul, culminating in an artistic expression of the participants’ aspirations and desires.
She also said the session helped participant release negative energy and replace with positive energy. The session also provided encouragement to unleash one’s best self.
Ms Atholang said the sessions would be facilitated by a specialists in the area of Communications, Public Policy Analyst and Financial Analysis.
She said mindfulness coach, Mother K Masire, as well as business analyst, Lucky Kgosiemang would also be part of the programme.
The facilitators, she said would provide practical knowledge that was applicable in both personal and professional settings.
“With the speakers from different backgrounds, we will be bringing greater direction, multidimensional focus, and increased productivity as well as heightened motivation to the participants in both their personal and professional lives.
Sip & Plan Botswana has been operational for three years and has hosted events at different facilities locally such as United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund, Ministry of Youth, St Joseph College and private sessions.
“The initiative has helped individuals to learn how to plan for the year and how to channel their focus and reaffirm purpose in their lives,” she said, adding that some students from different schools have testified that they did well in their final exams after they were taught about the importance of drawing a vision board.
For the first time last year, the company spread its roots to Namibia in August where they were invited to host a Midyear Intention Setting Session.
She said this year’s theme is: Action It, adding that they hoped to continue taking the #pushabw brand to other nations of the world. ENDs
