 Two youth entrepreneurs have created a mobile application that provides  a platform for a ‘new tomorrow’  against the new normal in the era of COVID-19.

 Mr Simbarashe Makore and Mr Ketumile Ngwamotsoko have promised through their application, MySimmer, to provide a platform for a ‘new tomorrow.’ 

 Speaking at the launch in Gaborone Tuesday, Mr Ngwamotsoko said MySimmer was one of a kind mobile application that offered a bouquet of service solutions geared towards answering the country’s immediate and future problems. He added that it also created a ground for innovation, business synergies and youth entrepreneurial development across the African continent.

Mr Ngwamotsoko also said the mobile App strived to create an enabling environment for innovation, creativity and exploration of the country’s possibilities by connecting clients around solutions that were tailor made for the current climate.

“MySimmer also features solutions such as MySimmerCity which is a transportation App, MySimmerExpress, an App account that users can deposit money into for use throughout the Apps offerings and MySimmer Live,” he said.

Mr Ngwamotsoko explained that the first App that they would roll out was MySimmer Live.

He said the App would feature an interactive live event built around the abundant talent in the country.

“Focusing on live shows based on a nomination round with five genres, winners of each genre would have an opportunity to perform at the live show wherein another round of in App voting will determine the overall winner,” he said.

Mr Makore said the development of the mobile application had been a collective work of different individuals over endless hours to bring a unique solution to Batswana. ENDS
