Business needs perseverancecommitment

The founder of Purple Art Company in Maun, Ms Snow Mabuto is one entrepreneur who believes that success can be defined and achieved once one believes in themselves.
She urged aspiring entrepreneurs to believe and trust in themselves in order to be successful in their projects, noting that they should never give up.
She said even though there will be some people who will critisise their business ideas, she advised them to stay put and live their dreams.
She said when narrating her success story in business during a leadership seminar.
Her company offers the following services; company registration, company accounts opening, annual returns, business plans, trade licenses, income tax and vat registration, financial accounts, management of accounts and work and residence permits.
Ms Mabuto explained that to start a business is not an easy thing, noting that it needs someone to exercise patience, perseverance and commitment. She emphasised the need to have a support structure in place for business to kick start and thrive.
She narrated that she managed through the mentorship and support she got from her family and the founding director of Leadership Nurturing, Ms Hannah Lecha who always made her to believe that indeed she can persevere despite the challenges she encountered.She further revealed that she started her business in 2009 with nothing in place in terms of resources and it was a difficult time when her husband was jobless and there was no source of income. That was the time when she realised that when someone is faced with challenges, it is always good to have a good mentor on the side to help you through the challenge.
Ms Mabuto thanked Ms Lecha for the support, noting that she is one of the good leaders who helped her to identify what options she may have to reach goals and then sets the appropriate challenges to lead her to success.
Through the support structure in place, she managed to approach financial institutions and kick start her business and today she is one of the successful entrepreneur who is willing to motivate and impart knowledge to the inspiring ones.
For her part, Ms Lecha who is a motivational speaker and mentor talked about the law of intentional growth and emphasised the need to plan for growth, noting that growth does not happen accidentally.She said some people do not want to work and noted that change begins with oneself doing something. She said it is important to identify the gaps that exist and improve for the better.
She mentioned that the greatest gap is the space between knowing and doing, noting that other gaps are assumption gap, knowledge gap, timing gap, perfection gap, inspiration gap and mistake gap.
Another speaker at the seminar, Dr Max Nhlatho of Doctors Inn said if one wants to be successful, they have to push hard and also believe in themself
He said as a leader, one has to recognise potential and power when they see it.
Maun First National Bank regional manager, Ms Kelebogile Disang said when a business does not perform well; people look at the leader and stated that it is important to empower junior employees so that they join hands in driving the mandate of the organisation. ENDS
