International journalists happy

An international journalist covering 11th general election, Mr Marco Longari of Agence France-Presse (AFP) has thanked IEC for enabling them to work freely in the run-up to the elections.
In an interview in the sidelines of the voting process at Makolojwane polling station in Serowe West constituency, Longari, currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa said IEC had availed everything they had wanted thereby making their assignments easy to cover.
He said they had been in the country for a week and had covered a number of political rallies and other political events, which were colourful and interesting.
He said Batswana in general had been welcoming and had made their assignment comfortable. Ends
