Arsonist trial set for April 2

The state counsel in the Sebina arson case, Mr Thapelo Mafishane has confirmed that the dates set for the trial dates by the Francistown Magistrate Court were still suitable.
Briefly appearing before Principal Magistrate Thebeetsile Mulalu on Tuesday, March 11, Mr Mafishane said the accused in the matter, Mgcini Ncube had been served with statements and that the state intended to call 12 witnesses.
Mr Mafishane further said the accused, as per his previous request would be assisted with transport to collect his clothes in Marobela.
The trial dates for the case in which the 34 year old Zimbabwean facing charges of arson of two houses have been set for April 2-4. The arson took at place at Sebina-Cross lands on August 9 last year.
The next mention date is March 25. Ends
