Bodies Found Decomposed Amid Murder-Suicide Suspicions

The bodies of a 20-year-old man of Mahotshwane and his 19-year-old girlfriend of Maboane were found decomposed at Khudu lands on November 4 in what is suspected to be a murder-suicide incident.
According to Mabutsane police station commander Superintendent Modirinyana Lekone,the couple was last seen on November 2 at Mahotshwane on their way to Khudu lands where the man was employed as a farm worker.He said a passerby saw the man hanging from a tree while the woman’s body lay motionless on the ground.
“The police were alerted of the incident and they were both confirmed dead at the scene.Since the bodies were badly decomposed,they were taken to their respective villages the same day where they were buried immediately,” he said in an interview.
He noted that there were no visible injuries on the bodies and while preliminary investigations indicate a suspected case of murder-suicide,they were awaiting post mortem results. ENDS
