Drug dealer appears in court

A 31-year-old Maun resident has appeared before court on a single count of unlawful dealing in habit forming drugs.
Segomotso Mokapa who resides at Riverside Ward, Maun, appeared before Magistrate Phandiwe Taka on March 5.
According to the statement of the offence, the accused unlawfully dealt in habit forming drugs namely dagga, weighing 1.1 grams on 29 February 2013 near Riverside Ward in Maun.
The accused was charged the on grounds that he was not licensed, authorised or exempted in any manner under the Drugs and Related Substances Act.
The accused pleaded guilty to the charge and would appear again on March 25 for presentation of facts. ENDS
