Kanye taxi man appears for murder

A Kanye-based taxi operator, Thapelo Mabeo, recently appeared before Magistrate Bosele Busang on a single count of murder.
According to particulars of the offence, the accused stabbed his girlfriend, Tlhalefo Elisha on the throat with an Okapi knife causing her death at Mafhikana ward in Kanye on November 27, 2013.
The court turned down his bail application after prosecutor Seargent Kebonyepono Motsiara opposed it saying investigations were still ongoing. Mabeo is due to appear again on March 20. BOPA
