One of Botswana’s biggest musical exports DJ Fresh will return home on today, February 28, to launch his eagerly anticipated house album, Fresh House Flavour Vol. 7.

DJ Fresh, born Thato Sikwane, will launch his new album at the Game city rooftop. The album was released last year September and the launch will be DJ Fresh’s first ever in the country. The organiser, DJ Sly of RB 2 fame, promised a massive show, saying DJ Fresh will bring the house down as he looks to come back full circle.

“DJ Fresh started the Fresh House Flava range and it changed the house landscape in South Africa for ever. So it’s only fair that as a Motswana he should go back to his roots and present the biggest album launch ever on his home soil,” he said.

He added that DJ Fresh is a crowd puller and the most sought after mix master especially in South Africa. He urged house lovers to come and see the Big Dawg in action, adding that the show will have a rich line-up that includes Vee, HHP, Dramaboi and local heavyweight DJ’s.

“Rest assured that security will be tight. We want people to have a good time without worrying about their safety,” he said.

DJ Sly added that there is a huge chance that HHP will premier his collaboration with Zambian DJ Sabastien Dutch at the show. Dollar Mac and T.H.A.B.O will be the MC’s. Tickets are going for P100 in advance, P150 at the entrance. VIP tickets are available for P200 at all Liquorama and Mafia Soul outlets in Gaborone. ENDS
