Court sets trial dates for Ncube case

The case in which the Zimbabwean national, Mgcini Ncube is facing charges of arson, has been set for trial on April 2-4.
Appearing briefly before Principal Magistrate Thebeetsile Mulalo, the state counsel, Mr Thapelo Mafishane said the accused would be served with two remaining witness statements.
He explained that investigations into the matter were complete and the investigating officer who was reported not to be available in the previous mention was now back and ready for trial.
Meanwhile, Ncube pleaded with the court to assist him get some of his remaining clothes from Marobela. He will appear again for mention on March 11. The 34 year-old Ncube is accused of setting two houses on fire at Sebina Cross last August. ENDS
