Two suspects who recently escaped from police custody in Gaborone's Old Naledi have been re-arrested.

A news release from the police stated that the suspects were Kago Setshego (25) who was arrested in Extension 14 and Keafentse Thabologang (32) who was arrested in Old Naledi. The suspects and two others, still at large, escaped after breaking the police holding cell door.

The release stated that Setshego was in police custody in connection with an armed robbery that took place at a filling station at Commerce Park while Thabologang was linked to an armed robbery that took place at Old Naledi.

The release stated that they had since been charged with escaping from lawful custody and would appear for mention on March 5. The police are still looking for Gofaone Moepeng (24) and Kabo Mosiane (25) both from Old Naledi. ENDS
