12 Nov 2025
President Advocate Duma Boko has announced that India has made a generous offer to donate anti-retroviral (ARV) medication to Botswana, with the consignment expected to arrive soon.
“We also applaud the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on pharmaceutical cooperation, which will facilitate ease of access and affordability to quality medicines from India,” said President Boko.
He added that the MoU would help solve a persistent challenge in Botswana’s healthcare system.
“We trust that this cooperation, the affinity between Botswana and India, will grow from strength to strength,” he said. ENDS
