Court arraigns Kelapile on two counts of murder

Tlhalosang Kelapile (38) was on September 25 arraigned by Maun Magistrate Court on two counts of murder.
Kelapile is allegedly linked to the death of Lekang Noga and Yuri Noga on or before September 19 at Disaneng Ward in Maun.
The state prosecutor, Ms Setsile Tshukudu pleaded with Magistrate Thebeetsile Molalu to remand the accused in custody, to allow the investing team to carry out investigations without potential interference by the accused.
Ms Tshukudu said the initial stage of the investigations was crucial so as to eliminate any chances of interference.
Addressing the court, Kelapile said he found the lifeless bodies of the victims in the morning on his return from church.
The case is set for status hearing on October 6 when the accused is expected to apply for bail. ENDS
