Search intensifies for Mochudi missing woman

Police in Mochudi have pulled all resources for the search of a 36-year-old woman of Ntshinoge ward who went missing since June 3.
Mochudi Police station commander, Superintendent Joel Masilo said the case was reported by the woman’s family on June 4 and the search had been on since then. It is reported that the family last saw the woman when she was going to work on June 3.
Supt Masilo said the search team includes scuba divers, air support services, sniffer and the public. He said both Botswana Police Services and Botswana Defence Force members were working around the clock to find the woman.
“We have been searching for this woman since the case was reported and the search is still continuing,” he said.
On another case, Supt Masilo said the police were investigating an accident that claimed a life of a 30 year-old man in an accident where a north bound Volvo truck and south bound Polo sedan collided at Ditladi, lands between Mosaditshwene and Artesia.
It is reported that on June 3, a 30-year old man of Dichibidu ward in Mochudi who was driving a polo sedan lost control into the north bound lane causing a head-on collision with a truck. Senior Supt Masilo said the deceased was ferried to Deborah Retief Hospital in Mochudi and certified dead same day. Family members identified the body and claimed it for burial. Police investigations on the accident continue. ENDS
