Police arrest robbery suspects

Police in Gaborone have arrested three suspects in connection with an armed robbery incident that occurred at Choppies Supermarket in Gaborone's Middle Star on January 30.
A press release from Botswana Police Service stated that the suspects, who were arrested in Gaborone and surrounding areas were all Batswana males aged 21, 26, and 32 years.
It said upon arrest, the police recovered cash tills suspected to have been stolen during the robbery as well as impounded a Nissan March motor vehicle suspected to have been used as a getaway car.
The three suspects would soon appear for mention before a magistrate court while police investigations continue. ENDS
