Motswako artist drops single

As a member of Vaes Vesur Borra music group, the underground motswako sensation has graced the street battles in Botswana and South Africa for more than 14 years.

Popularly known as N.T.A, Eric Moremi, who hails from Oodi is destined for greater heights. He just released his two singles titled in Love again and Baletedi.

With more than 100 motswako mixes, N.T.A believes it was long overdue for his musical recognition. Having worked with the likes of motswako musical giant of South Africa HT, his singles are already trending air play in radio stations across the country.

The 23-year-old is optimistic about his singles and believes they will pave way for his stardom and get national and international publicity.

“I believe that as an artiste these singles will provide a platform for my success and with the help of my producers and the group I can make it,” he said.

The singles are produced by Alex Tlhase of TDS Records and promoted by Uncle D. They also feature the likes of two street Mc’s Skuni and Botlhoko. Love again graced the music industry last year August and is a motswako version of a love song.

The second single Baletedi, is a dance tune with a mixture of motswako beats, and a dedication to his followers, those that have contributed to the success of this single.

N.T.A says that this is but, a taste for his upcoming album that will be due for release mid this year and will be titled People Behind. The album will incorporate motswako sensation Mahip from Mafikeng, which is believed to be the cradle of motswako music.

He urged Batswana to support motswako music though it is still a new genre in the music industry but it has potential for growth. ENDS
