Bomaid brings services closer to Maun community

24 Mar 2025

The opening of Bomaid’s Maun office reflects commitment to providing innovative healthcare solutions that prioritise the well-being of every individual regardless of location, says the Bomaid chief executive officer, Mr Moraki Mokgosana.

He made the remarks on Friday during the official opening of Bomaid office situated at New Mall, saying the moment signified a remarkable milestone in their journey to bring quality health services closer to their valued customers and other stakeholders.

The office would serve as a central hub offering personalised support to customers, assisting with medical aid plans, claims and enquiries among others.

It will also facilitate collaboration with local healthcare providers aiming to make quality healthcare services more accessible to the community.

“This office is testament of our dedication to serve our customers better. Following our engagement last year October with our customers, corporate clients and health providers among others, we listened attentively and fulfilled our commitment to addressing your needs and enhancing our presence in Maun,” added Mr Mokgosana.

He said their mission was to make quality healthcare accessible to all because they believed that location should not be a barrier, noting that the expansion also reflected their forward-thinking approach and commitment to collaboration.

He said they aimed to strengthen their partnerships with local healthcare providers, improve service delivery, and ensure that Bomaid customers in Maun received the comprehensive care they deserved as they had done in other regions.

“We are excited about the opportunity to engage directly with you and continue shaping a future where healthcare is not just accessible but truly meaningful. Whether you have been with us for years or are new to the Bomaid family, we extend a warm welcome. Together, we will build a future of health, happiness and well-being,” he stressed.

Bomaid chief customer executive officer, Ms Segolame Macheng concurred that the expansion was more than just a physical presence but testament to their unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of the dynamic community.

She appreciated the feedback they received during their engagement, saying they formed the cornerstone of their strategy and guided them in serving customers better.

She also pointed out that they started the year on a high note with the launch of STEPS campaign, which was born out of the critical feedback.

The STEPS campaign, she said, represented enhanced benefits, adding that they had also forged partnerships with various entities to expand value for Bomaid members.

The partnerships include entities such as Air Botswana, allowing customers favourable access to their services.

Ms Macheng highlighted that through these partnerships, they had also extended a helping hand in uplifting communities such as the Khwai Primary School where donations including school bags, stationary, projectors among others had been made.

The gathering was also informed about the revolutionary Abby machine, which offers extensive screening benefits that play a significant role in raising awareness and advancing preventative care.

“This machine is part of our continued effort to take proactive steps toward preventing illness and through these initiatives and more, we remain committed to being your ideal health partner not only by offering comprehensive health plans but also by investing intentionally in areas that promote health and happiness,” added Ms Macheng.
