Boko hails volunteers emergency workers

President Advocate Duma Boko has thanked emergency workers and volunteers for their dedication and selflessness during heavy rains that wreaked havoc in Gaborone and surrounding areas on February 19.
“Your efforts are a beacon of hope,” he said on his Facebook page.
He also called on the nation to stay vigilant and avoid flood prone areas.
“Fellow citizens, it is with a heavy heart that I address you during this challenging time, as our beloved city of Gaborone and surrounding areas face the devastating impact of heavy rains and flooding. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected, especially those who have suffered loss and all who are enduring hardship,” he said. ends
