Kachikau police are investigating the death of a 41-year-old man who was found dead at his home in Kaseke ward, Parakarungu, yesterday evening. The deceased, whose name has been withheld pending notification of his next of kin, was discovered by a friend around 6:03pm. The friend, who had been with the victim at local entertainment areas the previous night, became concerned after being unable to reach him throughout the day. Upon arriving at the deceased’s residence, the friend found him unresponsive on his bed and immediately alerted neighbours before contacting the police. Assistant Superintendent Sydney Mogajane, Acting Station Commander of Kachikau Police Station, said the police responded to the report and rushed to the scene. They transported the body to Kachikau Clinic, where the man was pronounced dead. The body has since been transferred to Kasane Primary Hospital and is awaiting post-mortem to determine the cause of death. Ends
