Police in Kachikau are investigating the death of a 41-year-old man who was found dead in his home in Kaseke Ward, Parakarungu, on Friday evening.
Kachikau police acting station commander, Assistant Superintendent Sydney Mogajane told BOPA that a friend, who was with the deceased the previous night, got concerned after he was unable to reach him throughout the day.
It was then that he decided to check on him at his home at around 6pm, and found him unresponsive on the bed, Assistant Superintendent Mogajane said.
The friend reportedly alerted the neighbours immediately and the police were called who later transported the body to Kachikau Clinic, where the man was pronounced dead.
Assistant Superintendent Mogajane said the body had since been transferred to Kasane Primary Hospital for post-mortem examination, to determine the cause of death while police investigations continued.
