Moshupa police investigate rape and murder cases

Moshupa police are in search of an assailant who allegedly raped a 72-year-old woman in Moshupa on Tuesday.
Station Commander of Moshupa Police Station Senior Superintendent David Ramoseki said in an interview recently that the suspect broke into the old woman’s house and raped her before fleeing the scene.
In a different incident that occurred on Saturday, Senior Superintendent Ramoseki said they detained a 20-year-old man of Maboto ward in Moshupa in relation with the murder of a 17-year-old boy still in Moshupa.
He said the deceased, from Sau ward in Moshupa, had supposedly gone clubbing at Dladleng Entertainment Centre the previous night but was found dead near the club premises on Saturday.
He said investigations into both cases were ongoing. BOPA
