Tatitown police are hunting for more suspects involved in an armed robbery case, where P90 000 was stolen at Options Moves Holdings on Monday.
Superintendent Alice Oabile of Tatitown Police said they suspect that the robbery was committed by a large syndicate, hence she called on the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the arrest of the remaining suspects.
Already, she said five men were arrested after a tip-off from the public.
“Four were apprehended in Francistown and one in Kasane yesterday," said Superintendent Oabile.
She said the police had since recovered P55 800 from the suspects.
Superintendent Oabile said two men entered the shop, where they demanded money and received P5 000 from the shop owner, but found P85 000, which they took before escaping.
She said the five suspects would appear at the Francistown Magistrate Court on Thursday. ENDS
