RED CROSS TO THE RESCUE

Botswana Red Cross Society (BRCS) ’s presence was visible in some of the polling stations during the October 30 general elections.
Ms Boitumelo Cornelius-Moloi, Head of Operations and Business Development at BRCS, said they had deployed 65 Red Cross personnel and 320 volunteers across the country.
She said their aim was to promote voters’ safety, uphold humanitarian purposes and provide psychological assistance to all during and after the elections.
