Four men who pleaded guilty to robbing Jesus Christ Church of the Latter Days have been granted bail.

The four, Thabo Mokgalagadi, Donald Gaoletswe, Maikano Setshwantsho and Kgololo Rakgaba were granted bail by Extension II Magistrate Court, Chief Magistrate Ms Kamogelo Mmesi on Monday, after the state prosecution expressed that it was not ready with facts reading.

Magistrate Mmesi said the court would admit the four accused persons to bail as they were remanded pending facts reading.

Therefore, she admitted them to bail with the sole condition that they should attend to court sessions whenever they were requested to do so.

According to the charge sheet, the four accused persons, earlier this month at Old Naledi broke into Jesus Christ Church of the Latter Days church with intention to steal.

The accused persons are alleged to have stolen fifteen chairs, pulpit stool, extension cord, solar light set and second hand shoes all valued at around P1940.

The accused persons who are self-represented are scheduled to appear again in court on September 26 for facts reading and possible sentencing. Ends
