Tsogwane attends inaugural Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier conservation area heads of state summit

Vice President also Acting President, Mr Slumber Tsogwane, was among the Heads of State and Government who attended the inaugural KAZA TFCA summit. Also in attendance were the Presidents of Zambia, Mr Hakainde Hichilema, Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe, and the Angola Minister of Tourism, Mr Marcio De Jesus Lopes.
The summit communique urges member states to expedite the operationalisation of the SADC CITES Engagement Strategy 2022-2026 to better defend the conservation, sustainable use, and socio-economic development interests of the region at CITES COP 20, scheduled to be held in Geneva in 2025. ENDS
