An otherwise well planned and publicised Mascom 7th annual Booster Bash got spoiled as rain came down on revellers on December 26.

Soon after the event, which took place at Serowe softball stadium, started and hundreds of revelers took to the dance floor, the rain poured, drenching the revelers and wetting the dry capital of Bangwato.

But before the rain, the revelers had  their appetites whetted by a number of DJs amongst them DJ Lexx, DJ King, Groovysouls and DJ Anthem who made a good job of  keeping the crowd on their toes.DJ Dave

Storm from Spain had the crowd begging for more as he did a spectacular job on the decks. He knew exactly where to touch and had revelers going wild.However, just after mid night when DJ Dave storm stormed the crowd with his magic, the heavens opened up. No mortal could compete with nature and the show came to an abrupt end.

People grabbed their chairs and cooler boxes into their cars and waited patiently for the rain to stop but to no avail. It kept raining until the stadium was flooded.

In an interview the event’s organiser Seabelo Modibe, said they would have continued with the show if the rain had stopped.However, he said people hould not despair as they were already planning to do a re-run of the show.

Modibe said they still had to talk to theirs sponsors first, and if things went according to plan they would probably have the show during the 2014 Easter holidays. ENDS
