Gaseitsewe Tonoki on Thursday  postponed the bail hearing for murder accused Bakang Masole to April 18 due to the accused’s written bail application not being submitted on time as agreed before.

Appearing for the state, Ms Neo Molelekwa urged the court to postpone the bail hearing as the written bail application by the accused was not submitted.

However, Masole complained that he submitted his written bail application though it was not submitted to the court and that there was no photocopying paper in order to bring a typed rather than a hand-written application.

Masole is facing a single charge of Phenyo Jakoba’s murder on or about November 9, 2023, near Mosinki lands in Molepolole.

The accused is also charged with the offence of robbing Jakoba, after stealing his blue Honda Fit car valued at P40 000. ENDS
