President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi is scheduled to take a working visit to Livingstone, Zambia from March  26 to 27 at the invitation of President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia.

The working visit comes in the wake of President Hichilema's recent visit to Botswana on 24 to 25 January, during which the two leaders engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest and explored avenues to strengthen cooperation between their respective countries.

During their time in Livingstone, the two Presidents will engage in official talks to follow up on the discussions held during the January  visit. Furthermore, several important agreements are expected to be signed, including the Agreement on the Establishment of the Kazungula Bridge Authority and a Memorandum of Understanding on Political Consultations between the two nations.

President Masisi will be accompanied by ministers from various sectors including Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security, Transport and Public Works, Agriculture, Labour and Home Affairs, Health, Minerals and Energy, Trade and Industry, Communication, Knowledge and Technology, as well as senior government officials.
