Botswana delegation to engage House of Lords on trophy hunting bill

A Botswana delegation is in London, United Kingdom to lobby the country on the impact of import ban of legally hunted wildlife trophies. The engagement strategy aims to create global awareness of hunting as tourism of national interest. The delegation led by Minister of Environment and Tourism, Mr Dumezweni Mthimkhulu will on Monday meet with the House of Lords with regards to the Hunting Trophies (Importation Prohibition) Bill. The bill seeks to ban the importation of legally obtained wildlife trophies from Africa.
