MP commends companies for school donation

Member of Parliament for Moshupa/Manyana, Mr Karabo Gare, has commended stakeholders for their contributions towards providing essential educational amenities for students in their pursuit of learning.
The Sons of Kings Bikers Club and Escanol Company, in collaboration with Furnmart, Fours Supermarket, and Nashua, donated a printer, two television sets, a computer, and toiletries valued at P300 000 to Bakgatla Primary School.
Mr Gare praised the kindness and generosity of these benefactors for bridging existing gaps and ensuring that students had the necessary resources for effective teaching and learning.
“Thank you for sparing your hard earned cash and diverting it to uplifting the lives of others, your contribution will assist in a long way and those results will be visible,” he said.
He emphasised that such contributions showcased the positive impact of community involvement, stating that the generosity of the bikers would greatly enhance the lives of those residing in the area.
Mr Gare stressed that government efforts alone were not sufficient to meet all educational needs, highlighting the crucial role of various stakeholders in addressing challenges within schools and maintaining an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
As an alumnus of Bakgatla Primary School, he encouraged current students to utilise the support provided to enhance their academic performance, emphasising that the unique opportunities available to them through such gestures of goodwill.
Acknowledging the limitations faced by schools in the constituency due to insufficient resources, Mr Gare underscored the importance of continued support from the community to improve educational outcomes and create a conducive learning environment for all students.
Mr Michael Morapedi, a member of the Sons of Kings Bikers Club, highlighted their commitment to assisting those in need, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contribute positively to the educational landscape by addressing pertinent challenges faced by schools.
The School Head Ms Bame Mokgatitswane expressed gratitude for the donation, and recognised its significant impact on the school’s ability to provide a conducive learning environment for its 871 students.
She noted that the resources would facilitate easier reproduction of materials and enhance the overall learning experience for the students. ENDS
