Armed robbers break into Sefalana

Six armed robbers on Wednesday broke into Sefalana wholesalers in Kanye, handcuffed the night watchman at gun point and escaped with alcoholic beverages and cigarettes worth about P 100 000.
Speaking in an interview, Kanye Police station Commander, Supt Kealositse Konyana said the robbers also fled the crime scene with Sefalana truck but was later on found abandoned at Mahikana ward. The robbers are still at large, while police investigations continue.
Meanwhile, Supt Konyana has urged residents of Kanye to help in locating the mother of a new born baby that was retrieved from a pit latrine by the police at around 8pm at Goora Sebego ward still in Kanye.
He has also encouraged residents to help with information that could help the police crackdown on some thieves who are reported to break into people’s homes especially at night for laptops and flat screens around Kanye. Ends
