President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi and First Lady Neo yesterday registered to vote in the coming general elections.

 The first couple registered at Mosielele Primary School in the Moshupa/Manyana Constituency.

Registration Clerk, Ms Batshegi Mpebe said registration at Mosielele Primary School was currently slow, indicating that since the voter registration exercise started, the number of people who registered at the registration point stood at 130. 

She added that most of those who registered were young people.

Approximately 1 586 people have registered in the entire Moshupa/Manyana Constituency since the registration exercise started.

Ms Mpebe said they had not experienced any challenges so far. She said they were expecting more numbers as registration continued.

Registration to vote for 2024 general elections started on January 5 and will end on February 3.  Ends
