Tonota District Council unveils new logo

Tonota District Council has unveiled its new logo, which follows the council’s upgrading into a fully-fledged council in April.
The unveiling was done during the chairperson’s annual ball on December 28, which brought together the district's top officials and stakeholders to celebrate the end of the year.
The new logo is seen as a testament of the diversity and richness of the district’s economy.
The elements of the logo represent key activities that drive the local economy, including worm farming, fishing, and cattle rearing.
Another feature on the logo, the Tati River reflects the importance of water resources to the region, while the head of a cow symbolises the role of cattle in the lives of the people.
Permanent Secretary to the President, Ms Emma Peloetletse graced the event. Ends
