Superintendent Serumola said investigations were ongoing.
Meanwhile, the Station Commander of Gerald Police Station, Superintendent Kebonye Kula said it was a peaceful Christmas in her area of jurisdiction.
Superintendent Kula, credited the calm holiday season to the heavy rains that kept people indoors.
She said with these torrential rains over the holidays, the would be criminals were less likely to go out and commit crime whilst others were kept at bay due soccer tournaments that were organised over the holidays.
“Also, the holiday season meant that people were spending more time with their families at their homes, which contributed to the overall peace and quiet,” she added. Ends
