Unlawful wounding worrisome

Serowe police recorded five cases of unlawful wounding that happened prior to Christmas Day.
Police Station commander Supt Poloko Oteng told BOPA in an interview on Boxing dat that the incidents took place at various places like sheebeens, homesteads and the streets, prompting the police to intensify policing practices such as stop and search exercise.
Supt Oteng said perpetrators included both men and women, some of whom were in police custody while others were on the loose, adding police had launched a manhunt for them.
He implored residents to resolve issues amicably and not resort to violence. Ends
