The Ramotlabaki Village Extension Team (VET) recently  donated a fully furnished one-room house to Ms Lucky Tauyamakoba.

The VET chairperson, Mr Moelatlhoko Lenyaola said the donation was part of the team’s corporate social responsibility initiative of giving  back to the community.

He said extension team members and other members of the community contributed funds towards building of  the room worth about P16 000.

He thanked the community for cooperation on the project and encouraged the spirit of social responsibility by helping those in need.

Kgatleng District officer, Ms Semakaleng Palai applauded VET members for their commitment to see the needs of their community met and  urged everybody to come on board.

Ms Palai said the lack of basic needs such as shelter frustrated efforts to meet basic living standards, and urged all stakeholders and individuals to give a helping hand where needed.

Area councillor, Ms Elizabeth Linchwe thanked VET members for the donation, saying it would improve the lives of the beneficiaries.

For her part, Ms Tauyamakoba thanked all those who contributed to the success of the initiative. ENDS
