HE condolence with the Moampe family

President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi visited the Moampe family on Thursday to offer his condolences upon the passing of their daughter, Ms Goabamang Moampe, who served as an elder of Xhosa 2 ward in Mahalapye. The President was accompanied by Mr Kgotla Autlwetse, the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Aubrey Lesaso, the Assistant Minister of Education and Skills Development, and area MP Mr David Tshere.
Dr Masisi expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family on behalf of the nation, his government, and the Masisi family. He encouraged the family to find solace in their faith during this challenging time and emphasised the importance of celebrating Ms Moampe's life and the positive impact she had.
President Masisi said 'Mma Ruth as she was affectionately called,' highlighting was a loving mother, sister, friend, and relative who dedicated herself selflessly to building her family. He also urged Ms Moampe's children to work closely with their relatives, continuing the legacy left by their mother.
The family representative, Mr Andrew Abotseng, expressed gratitude to President Masisi for taking the time to pay his last respects despite his busy schedule. He found comfort in the knowledge that Ms Moampe had raised her children well and witnessed their marriages.
Ms Moampe, also known as Ms Moampe (nee Masu), was born in Kanye in 1930 and was the third child of the late Ms Elsie Masu and Mr Robert Mankadile. She will be laid to rest over the weekend in Mahalapye. She leaves behind her children and grandchildren. BOPA
