 First Lady Neo Masisi has encouraged the Senne family to put their trust in God for comfort during the difficult time of the loss of their mother, Ms Tebalo Senne.Ms Masisi who had visited the family to offer condolences  in Molepolole yesterday said she did not visit in her own capacity but was also representing President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi who was currently engaged due to official obligations.

Explaining the Masisi family’s relation to the bereaved family, Ms Masisi said the fourth child to the late Ms Senne, Mr David Senne and wife Boitumelo were close friends to the President’s elder sister Ms Boitumelo Phadi Masisi and were by extension their friends too.  

She said they had always maintained close family ties.

When thanking the First Lady on the behalf of the family, Kgosi Kgari III highly praised her for finding time off her busy schedule to comfort the family on behalf of the president.  

He further requested her to pass the bereaved family’s gratitude and inform the President that indeed the family had been consoled by her visit and words of encouragement.

Mr David Senne explained that his mother who was 81 years old died on November 11 after a short illness.  He shared the First Lady’s  sentiments that the two families had always maintained close ties since they met while studying and working in America.  ENDS
