Communication is key to the success of all ventures such as building strong families.

Speaking during a family building seminar in Kanye on October 30, Kanye South Member of Parliament, Dr Lemogang Kwape said it was important to consult when taking decisions.

“We should not make decisions on behalf of each others without discussing first,” he said.

Dr Kwape said building strong families led to successful communities and the nation.

He highlighted the need to be patient when working with others, saying patience always paid off in the end.

He advised attendees to do everything for the benefit of their families rather than to impress others.

Dr Kwape also said those who were better off in life should see the need to assist the less privileged.

One of the organisers, Ms Ashley Thaba reiterated that communication was key to every relationship.

She advised that the person to be in charge of family finances should be chosen by both parties looking at the qualities of such an individual in relation to money.

She said families were teams with individuals having different roles to play, adding that no one should be left out in family matters. ENDS
