All is in order to carry out general voter registration that commences November 13 and ends December 8.

The announcement was made by the Vice President, Mr Slumber Tsogwane when addressing kgotla meetings in Motopi and Moremaoto on October 31.

All the polling stations, registration material and human resource are ready for registration to commence, Mr Tsogwane said.

Voter registration, which was scheduled for the first of October was postponed to November 1 due to delays in printing registration material. It has further been postponed to November 13.

The Vice President urged Batswana to encourage each other to register in large numbers.

“Encourage your children, encourage all those who will be turning 18 to vote. Don’t wait until the last minute,” said Mr Tsogwane.

Voting is your right, do not deprive yourself of the right to vote, he added. Ends
