Molepolole police investigate two killings

Molepolole police are investigating two murder incidents that happened on Friday evening.
Molepolole Station Commander Supt. Benedict Matlho said a 28-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed with a sharp object by her 27-year-old boyfriend on Friday evening in Lentsweletau.
He disclosed that the two, said to have a child together, had a misunderstanding that led to the incident.
He said the victim was rushed to the clinic in Lentsweletau, where she succumbed to her injuries while being attended to.
The suspect, who originates from Molepolole, is in police custody while investigation continue.
In another incident, Supt Matlho said a 25-year-old man of Molepolole was beaten to death by a mob at Masuaditshwene at around 10pm on Friday night. It is alleged that the victim was accused of stealing.
He said the victim was rushed to Scottish Livingstone Hospital, where he died in the early hours of Saturday morning. Supt Matlho indicated that there has been no arrest yet in connection with the second incident.
