Man in court for girlfriends murder

A 26-year-old man has appeared in court for the alleged murder of his lover.
Andy Nick Sematlho was arraigned before the Molepolole Magistrate’s Court for mention on Monday for the murder of Sedilame Sikalefe on October 13 in Lentsweletau.
Sergeant Pako Kgosimolao of the Botswana Police told the court that the deceased’s body was still at Scottish Livingstone Hospital in Molepolole mortuary awaiting post-mortem.
He said police investigation into the incident, which had just commenced, was ongoing.
Chief Magistrate Gaseitsewe Tonoki ruled that the accused be remanded in custody, and appear again on November 2. ENDS
