Botswana turns 57 September 30

On Saturday, Botswana will celebrate 57 years of Independence.
The country has achieved remarkable feats since 1966.
Botswana can boast of numerous accomplishments, including political stability, remarkable economic growth,
significant poverty reduction, as well as advancements in education and healthcare.
The 57 th anniversary will give the country and Batswana an opportunity to reflect on
the progress made as well as finding solutions to the current challenges. The nation at large would celebrate independence day in their respective villages and wards, while the main event would be in Gaborone.
