Tshepang Charity Foundation exists to give care

The act of giving is one of the many good virtues upon which Botswana was founded and has to be encouraged if the needs of the less privileged are to be met, says Ms Judith Dirorimwe.
Ms Dirorinwe, who is at the helm of the Tshepang Charity Foundation in Francistown said this during a donation of food hampers and blankets at the IDM campus in Francistown on Saturday.
She added that compassion or reaching out to the poor was a way to serve the high purposes.
“Giving is a testament of our conviction to this truth,” she said, adding that extending a helping hand gave hope and love to the discouraged. Pastor Doris Ralentswana of Grace of Bethel Church echoed Ms Dirorinwe’s words and encouraged people to donate their time, love, knowledge and money towards good causes.
She also relayed that giving paved the way for God to entrust givers with blessings to issue out to the poor.
“Giving paves the way for God to continue to entrust one with more and become a channel for others,” she said.
According to Pastor Ralentswana, there was no love that expressed itself except through giving.
MP for Francistown West, Mr Ignatius Moswaane commended Tshepang Foundation for their benevolent act of charity and called on others to follow suit.
Francistown South legislator, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi also appreciated the gesture by Tshepang Charity Foundation.
Mr Mmolotsi said he was hopeful that the seed planted by the foundation would inspire other good Samaritans to come to Francistown South and show love to the less privileged members of the society. ENDS
