Tsogwane consoles the Thapelo family

Vice President, Mr Slumber Tsogwane on Sunday visited and extended his condolences to the late Ms Oreilwe Thapelo’s family in Mokoboxane.
Ms Thapelo, who was 57 years old, is said to have died last week when a loaded gun placed at the back of the pickup truck she was in accidentally went off.
In his consolation message, Mr Tsogwane encouraged family to stay strong and trust God.
He said unusual and shocking as the incident was, family should accept that it had happened.
“We depart this Earth in different ways, some by car accidents and some because of illness among others. We are all visitors in this world, so be comforted in this trying time,” he said.
One of the relatives, Mr Balebi Ketimetse appreciated the vice president’s gesture.
He said the visit by the country leadership in such hard times showed sympathy and was enough to soothe souls of the grieving family. Ends
