Man to appear in court for girlfriend murder

A 55 year-old man of Tonota West is expected to appear before Francistown Magistrate Court on a single country of murder on August 8.
The suspect is alleged to have on Friday murdered his girlfriend at Semotswane after he found her sleeping with another man.
Confirming the incident, Tonota Police Station Commander, Superintendent Oteng Ngada explained that the suspect was currently in police custody following his arrest on Sunday.
He said the suspect allegedly used a knife to stab the deceased several times in the body until she died, The other man is hospitalised at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital but in a stable condition.
Superintendent Ngada explained that the suspect would be charged with a single count of murder. Police investigations are ongoing. Ends
