Matsime's case committed to High Court

A case in which Gabalape Matsime (32) is accused of killing his girlfriend last year December at Tsholofelo in Gaborone has been committed to the High Court for trial.
Matsime appeared before Broadhurst Magistrate, Ms Goratile Moremi-Ramakoloi in Gaborone on Tuesday.
Magistrate Moremi-Ramakoloi further remanded Matsime in custody to await trial.
The facts of the matter are that on December 30, 2022 in Gaborone, the accused person stabbed a police officer, Onkemetse Motiki (36) with a sharp object.
The state prosecutor, Mr Monametsi Koakae told court that Matsime had been served with the committal documents and witness statements for his appreciation. ENDS
